We asked our entire team of artists about this project. Check out what Lorena Marin Ortiz (BANQUO/LADY MACDUFF/WITCH) has to say about it.
What was your first Shakespeare play?
Measure for Measure (I played Isabella) What drew you to this production?
I always thought that artists have the responsibility to speak up and tell the stories of those who can’t and M.Beth is a huge opportunity to do so after we women have been silent for centuries.
Why are you excited about this production?
The challenge of playing Banquo, Lady MacDuff and a Witch. It’s been a joy and has made my acting grow immensely. What other plays would like to do in this style?
Julius Caesar
What do you think will surprise people about this production?
Besides seeing a cast full of powerful women, you might think differently about social media at the end of the play.
Why wouldn't you want anyone to miss M.Beth?
Because the production team is awesome and has prepared some incredible goodies for you!
Wild Card!
I’ve choreographed and wrote the music for a dance piece called ‘Azul en Movimiento'
